There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing it was to have our wedding at such an amazing venue. Watonka Outdoor Facilities went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We contacted the venue in June of 2022 and they were very fast to respond. We quickly set up a time for us to come to view the venue and we knew as soon as we saw it, this this is the PERFECT venue. We reserved the week of September 12-16, 2023. There is so much to do on the venue, we barely had to leave for much. Between a lake with boats, climbing tower, game room, outdoor games, we were occupied the entire time! Even more, there is a full kitchen available for use to include the night of the wedding for the caterer, and a nice dining area that was able to sit all our guest throughout the week.  They have several cabins on the venue, and a cottage. This made it possible to sleep all of our family and friends, and prevented having to travel after the wedding which was something that EVERYBODY absolutely loved about this venue! Anthony and Dave were the most attentive owners I have ever met. They were constantly available, checking in with us to ensure that if there was anything we needed to get done, they would make it happen. They kept such impeccable keep of the land, and ensured the landscaping was absolutely gorgeous. So much so, that they went as far as cutting down a tree I didn’t like the look of, just to ensure I was happy with my pictures. Every single day they checked in with us multiple times, and were just really incredible to work with. On the day of the wedding they were also present, and also went as far to drive a golf cart to pick up guest who were not able to walk as far, and bring them where they needed to be for the different parts of the wedding. The day of the wedding was absolutely amazing! The beautiful scenery and perfect weather made the day amazing. They have a beautiful arch available to have the ceremony at, with very little decorations it was absolutely stunning. After the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour on the deck, which was big enough to hold all of our guest! We were able to stay up all night partying with our family and friends. After the reception, we all moved to the game room and did karaoke. It was truly an unforgettable night. We still get compliments from our guest who tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to!
